FÓRUM EUGÉNIO DE ALMEIDAIDENTITY
A contemporary art museum. In Portugal’s interior. Built inside an old inquisition palace. Next to a roman empire's ruin. This is as odd as it gets. For two years, I've worked with Filipa Oliveira, the Fórum's current curator. The goal was to bring an approach to its identity that would position it in a broader map, while still engaging with the locals. The result is a colorful simplification of the language and a search for a sophisticated approach. Crossing contemporary values with the place's heritage, Filipa dared to ask 'What Museum do you Dream of?'. This identity dares to answer to the posing question 'What can a Museum look like?'.
